- Val| 1 replyIt is a scam and don’t listen to the people on here trying to convince you otherwise because they are most likely scammers trying to make their operation sound legitimate. I called my local Walgreens directly and they verified this was not them. You can sign up for texts alerts to receive your prescription status. I do not have my prescriptions on auto refill and no new ones called in, so that was a dead giveaway. This robo caller spoofed my local Walgreens number and left this voicemail:
“Hi this is Walgreens calling with a reminder about your prescriptions your prescription will be ready for pick up next week if you'd like to make any changes please give us a call before your pick up day at 1-833-728-3874 that's 1-833-728-3874 thanks for choosing Walgreens…”
It’s a scam. Don’t fall for it.- Caller: Walgreens

- LaurieWas suspicious of this call. Looked to see if others had received. Thought I’d try calling. Busy signal. Plus the voicemail started part way into their spiel so it was confusing.
- Caller: My local Walgreens!
- DThis is a marketing call from Walgreens trying to get you to sign up for a save a trip program where you can get Rx meds shipped or delivered to you. I asked the woman who answered if she thought I was so incompetent I could not ask fo or arrange for this service on my own. She did not think so. I told her to make a note in her records t NOT market me again.

- Adrian| 1 replyReceived a voicemail from a local Walgreens phone number on the caller ID and the recording indicated my prescriptions would be ready next week and that i needed to call 833-728-3874 to make any changes. Not sure if legit or not but i don't have any prescriptions with Walgreens so i am not calling back.

- Tygerkat replies to AdrianWell, if you don't have any prescriptions with Walgreen's, it's clearly not legit.
- Deb replies to NicoleYes they do use tex. It always works. People just need to have auto fill on

- Precious replies to SomeoneGot a call this morning from this number wanting my personal information regarding refills on my prescriptions. I was a little hesitant but after asking the representative a few questions and she gave me the actual medications and the due dates to be refilled, I was OK with it. She actually work for Walgreen's call center. "Legit"
- BradNumber is legit. As previously mentioned, it has it's own page on the Walgreens website -> https://www.walgreens.com/rx-settings/saveatriprefills
When I called, the agent clearly identified themselves and the company they worked for. Furthermore, I only gave my name and dob and the agent confirmed both my home address and my current prescriptions.
Their bi-weekly messages to get me to sign up on my voice mail were honestly starting to get annoying, but it's a free service that helps fit things into my schedule better, so I finally got around to taking them up on their offer.- Caller: Walgreens

- Cooper Lif this is legitimate from Walgreens, they are crappy at marketing because it seems like a fake call/message. they should just hand out flyers in the prescription bag and the pharmacist should let you know what it is about. cold calling customers using one number and then providing a different number for call back is super suspicious.

- MariThis same "Walgreens save time" thing called me from my local store. I thought what a great idea. So I called the number back and they were trying to sell me a Medic-alert system . That's not what I called for. Thankfully I didn't give out any information, ect.

- BLDN10I have gotten this call a couple of times and, while I knew it was a mistake, I did not immediately see it as a scam because I am a Walgreens customer and do get calls about my prescriptions. But I REALLY though it was Walgreens because the lady sounds very much like the real Walgreens one.

- AlecI got a voicemail message about the Save a Trip program. The person I spoke to was sort of unprofessional sounding, so I was skeptical at first, but it is legit. It's on their website: https://www.walgreens.com/rx-settings/saveatriprefills
- Caller: Walgreens
- Jay Jay replies to ValThat's the same exact message I received almost one year later. I do use Walgreens although I didn't have any prescriptions due. I called to make sure they didn't send anything and when I called back I thought I had misdialed. Called again and got the same bouncy girly voice trying to sound seductive. "This is the hottest hot line. Guys if you want to talk to some hot girls and ladies if you want to talk to some hot guys" is about when I hung up.
- I use Walmàrt!Said scripts ready in a week, but I don't use walgreens!
