This number left numerous messages on an old phone number saying that a hold was placed on our card due to a suspicious transaction. The message included the last four digits of our card and the name of our bank; however, it is a scam. The instructions stated we should call 833-735-1891 and enter a case number.  They also stated specific times of a transaction on the card. There were NO transactions at all on this card on the dates and times they mentioned in the many, many messages left. We've contacted our bank.

Have received this voice-mail message several times.  They claim that someone is trying to use my debit card  (they're also having a difficult time pronouncing my name).  Of course my card is on hold and I'm given a case number.  Not only did they misspell the name of the bank but are referring to an account that was closed 3 years ago.  Don't believe anyone should respond to this number.

Received a call from this number stating my card had been locked due to fraud activity. They had last 4 of card and bank name as well as my email. Their call went to voice mail and when I heard it I checked my bank directly to see if there was an issue. No issue. Email was convincing if I didn't have a Zero trust on all emails.

Robocall letting me know there was a fraudulent transaction on my debit card and it was put on hold. They knew last numbers of my bank account and the Bank's name. I call the main branch of my bank. There was a cancelled wallmart online transaction of $330.66. Not my transaction, we were in the plane on the way back from Europe at that time. The bank told me my debot card was still active and not on hold.

"lyssa" posted here almost a year and a half ago.  I guess you can hope and pray that she stops back to tell you what to do or you could simply do the smart thing and call the bank up using the number on the back of your card.  I certainly hope that you make the right choice.

Got an email from my “bank” saying it was a fraud alert for my debit card for a transaction and to call this number. The thing is, I never activated that card. So I knew off the bat this was a scam smh.

I got a message from Middlesex savings bank fraud detection center to verify recent transactions on my savings bank debit card ending xxx. They have a callback of 833 735 1891.  Middlesex said they don't use this center, it is fraudulent.

They called me today and claimed they were putting my card on a temporary hold due to possible fraudulent charges. ( On a secure website) They told me I needed to call them back and talk to a fraud center and give them a certain type of number, they rattled off , I didn't have or know nothing about. I hung up on them and found out there is NO hold on my card. Also I'm not using a bank card, so.......... I'm seeing all over this is a Robo Scammer call.

Obviously this is not a "robo scamming call" because you talked to someone.
