Caller indicated there was an order of $77.97 made at Amazon.  Call this number only if I didn't I didn't make place the order.  I called the number anyway, got nothing, no one answered, the phone stop ringing.

Recording with a very familiar robo voice. Same message left as above.

Scam/Phishing call about a non-existent $77.97 purchase on Visa card on Amazon.com. IT'S A SCAM..DON'T CALL BACK AND BLOCK NUMBER.

Robocaller, saying same as above.  THIS NUMBER NEEDS TO BE PERMANENTLY DISCONNECTED, and the people who are doing the scam need to be arrested for fraud. Why isn't cyber-crime being dealt with

Foreign caller said there was a fraudulent purchase on my Amazon account for Nike shoes heading for Nigeria. Amazon verified there was no fraud on my account.

Family member just fell for this scam: the foriegn scammer told my family member to not contact Amazon directly that they would help. Told my family member to go to her computer and type in a website that would allow the scammer to take over our computer. Thankfully we caught it at that point, cursed the scammer, and hung up. Reported it to Amazon and amazon said this is a very bad scam. That they will take over your computer and any accounts you access that computer with.

BE CAREFUL. I got a call and said my Amazon account had a charge going to Nigeria and did I place this order. They left this number to call back.  I SHOULD HAVE READ 800NOTES FIRST OR RESEARCHED THIS NUMBER. So of course I called back and the man repeated did I place an order for tennis shoes going to Nigeria.  I panicked WHICH IS NOT ME. Then he said he'd help me and I said I was going to check my Am account.  He hysterically told me not to because I "would be giving these thieves information if I checked my Am account."
THIS IS A LIE!!!!  If I had checked, I would have seen the charge was not there and there is something wrong with this call. He then told me to go to CHROME. I said I had MSN or MOZILLA. He said NO--- IT HAD TO BE CHROME.  When I got there he started to give me an address of www.teamvi  AND THEN I STOPPED. I remembered this is www.teamviewer.com.  IT GIVES ACCESS TO YOUR COMPUTER FOR EVERYTHING.  I cussed him out and said I knew this was a scam.  I saved myself a lot of grief and trouble.  The worst part is that I called this number back on my cell to check and now they have my cell to give around the world. God knows what's going to happen now that my cell is out there to these evil creatures. BE CAREFUL. I'm tech savvy and I got fooled

I came home to a message that said a charge of $59.07 has been charged....same as all the messages above.  Checked all our Am accounts and then googled the number.  Thanks to everyone here for posting it being a scam.  I thought as much but always feels better knowing for sure.  Blocked the number.

Same thing - female robot voice saying to call Amazon support right away if I did not recognize this purchase. Which of course I didn't do after reading all these other people with the exact same thing - thank you!

Recorded message claiming to be from Amazon asking about a purchase for 77.97... scam!

This is a scam call. I received this call in Phoenix on Friday morning, June 12.
Do NOT call them back. They are trying to install spyware into your computer.
