received a message that a complaint was filed against a lady  and  they need a response by the end of the business day? the name of the person they mentioned is not me. this sounds like a scam though.  BLOCKED

I called the number back , asked who or what company this was they said CRS . I asked who they represented they said they had a case against the person , so I asked for the Atty they he got so mad , that he even started cursing, I sure do not think this is a professional Co or A legitimate Co , block number

Agreed I was also threatened with court action, process server, and garnishment of my Social Security Check.  Please research things before paying any outstanding debt.  SSI and SSD can only be garnished in certain cases.  The lady was bullying and trying to intimidate.  I requested the Supervisor who was a bit more professional.  With the same basic  line.  They may be a collection agency using wrong tactics or a scam.  They wanted a payment plan schedule to which our answer was NO!!!!!

Got a call from Megan and Amber. Would not give specifics of agency nor what they were calling about unless I gave DOB and SSN. I hungup. .

Megan call and ask for my ex wife and said there was a complaint about her from some residents when she lives  75 miles away

I received a phone call from the same number. Megan was the person who called and then routed the call to Amber. She told me that I had a civil lawsuit against me from a bank that supposedly loaned me money. I have not borrowed money through any bank in over 15 years nor have I had a credit card since 2000. I was very confused because they had my last 4 digits of my SSN#. When I told Amber this information and that I have not received any notices about this in the mail she became very hostile. When I asked for them to send me all the information by mail she replied that she could only send it through email. At this point I became even more skeptical and asked about the date of this "loan" she replied it was in 2015. I told her that it was impossible for me to have taken out any loans from anyone during this time frame since I have a trustee who handles my finances due to my medical conditions. She stated that I did take the loan out and that it was for $500.00 originally and with late fees plus attorney fees it was now $1650.00. Again, I asked her to send me all documents pertaining to this civil lawsuit and again she stated she could only send it through email. By this time my son had heard my conversation and asked me what the heck was going on and I told him. He then took my phone and told Amber that she was not to contact me again and he ended the call. My son searched Google and told me this was a scam and reminded me that if I was actually being sued that I would have been contacted via USPS and served with a summons, which neither have happened. I was so upset that I was shaking because they did have my last 4 digits of my SSN# and that is really scary. I never give my SSN# to anyone. If anyone reads this please do not let them con you into paying anything. If it was a real court matter it would be done via USPS and not a phone call. Said needed my statement regarding an incident at my grandparents home.  But if they didn't hear back would be reporting to local county clerks office.

Bet its from my payday loan.  They can't do anything legally because they knowingly took a check they knew didn't have funds to cover.  Post dated checks can't per prosecuted in Florida.

Yes.. got a voicemail from a Olivia when I called back she said they received documents returned in the mail for an account of a credit card,  I never even had, nor heard of and stated she was calling on behalf of her client but wouldn’t give me the name of the client. So. I hung up and called back and asked to speak to a Manager she stated she is the Manager and her name is Amber.  She stated that I will get a court notice in the mail and they will attach my wages.  She wouldn’t even give me her clients name but told me I owed over $1500 to a credit card company!!!

The number was 844-211-6728 and I spoke with Olivia and Amber from that number.

I got a call from the #, they told me I took out a loan in 2015 when I resided at a resident I was not at in 2015. Said it was $500, but would need to pay $1600 back.  Didn't believe them, the company they gave me, I never did business with.
This is a scam.

Received a call from a Melanie Jacobs not only did she call me but she called my husband and two of my children one which does not even live in the state stating the same thing to them that they had a case against me and that I had to the end of the day to reply or they were going to go to the courthouse in the county I live in. She did have my full name the last 4 of my social and my address which is scary but I do believe it's a scam so I'm not even going to call back.

Amber Jacobs called me and said she needed a statement before filling a civil suit against me in my county. She got very nasty when I told her that I googled the number and knew it was a scam and that she was not following legal collection processes.
