Called from this number bogus call

Whoever this person is they are calling my job and all

I keep getting a call from this number, but when I call them back they will not give me any information.  My son works for the Secret Service and now I have them involved in this.

I have an unpaid loan and now it is up to $680.00 for monies that was deposited in my bank account back in Dec of 2012 and they have sent a locator out to look for me at my address and they were going to contact the State Attorney's Office to serve me with the documents.

In civil matters (moneys owed) they do not involve police. They sue you through a law firm. They would never call and threaten you or anything to that nature.

They refer to themselves as the firm when leaving a message. Said they have verified our address and we have until they reach me directly to resolve this claim with the Firm. No real details given as to what the claim is.

Calling my work, distant relatives, etc.  Finally got a hold of them and supposedly there is legal action pending regarding a payday loan.  I told them I needed to receive all of the information in the mail.  She told me it was "too late" and I couldn't request that.  I said that it is the law and she said "oh, so you know everything?"  I hung up.  They called again and left a message and I got someone different.  I repeated that I needed something in writing and she did send an e-mail with the claim information.  I responded to the e-mail stating that all of my payday loans had been cleared in 2012 and whatever company they were using to dig up these claims was bogus.  I also reiterated that they have to provide written verification of all claims and are not permitted to call people's work and relatives threatening legal action.  I also told her I had submitted a complaint to the Attorney General and FTC regarding their collection practices.  I haven't heard from them since.

Whoever this is, has called my house about 15 times already today. They even had the guts to harass my neighbors, who i barely know. My neighbor told me that when she asked the company name, all the guy said was "the legal dept" and she said "from where" he was rude and told her it was none of her business. My neighbor told that they also told her what the amount owed was, and that they would contact the police if I didnt pay it today. I called them back, and asked what the name of the company was and what the debt was, and they told me the same thing for company name "legal dept" They asked me to verify my SSN, and i refused. I asked what the name and address of the company was, and the guy told me I didnt need to know that information. They had my first name spelled wrong when i asked the guy to read it off and the last name wasn't even close to what mine is., so if this was a legit debt, i would think they would have the right last name. The guy told me that i had to go get a prepaid debit card and put the amount owed on it, and call him back with the info. Again, if this was legit, they would NEVER ask you to do so. I hung up, and they kept calling me again. I got annoyed and answered after awhile, and told them i was contacting the FTC. Haven't heard back from them yet.

I got thos same message. Theu certified my employment? I havent worked in almost a year.

SCAM SCAM SCAM! These people are so stupid it's remarkable. Threatening me with criminal court for a payday loan I already paid back 2 years ago! Report them to your state Attorney General and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Refused to tell me where they were located and refereed to themselves as the firm. Idk what the firm means. Maybe they ment law firm bought could barley speak proper english

These slugs keep calling and are very vague. They even called friends and family looking for me. Its a complete scam that they use your name to terrorize you to give them money. Total BS!

I committed fraud, going to levy my accounts and assets in 48 hours if I did not call and take care of this.

I had just this morning, spoken to CBV collections to sort my debts from Telus, and they call me regarding the same thing. I told them it was already being dealt with and she wouldn't let me get a word in and proceeded to try and get money from me. I hung up on her. At the beginning of the call she kept telling me that she couldn't tell me who they were or provide me with any information unless I provided my birthday. I got so boiled over the call that I hung up. When I asked the name she said it really fast 2 times. So I still didn't catch it.

I get 2 or 3 calls a day from this number I do not have any outstanding debts they will not give me any information they are very rude and they do not leave any messages on my phone
