    Recieved a call and they stated that his name was Lead investagator Morgan with the fraud dept from Jefferson City, Mo. Advising that they will serve me with papers from out of state for a criminal case. Was advised by my attorney that this was a scam. My attorney advise me that if another state has filed criminal charges against you then it will have to go through the state of Missouri first and it has to be posted on casenet.com

    An actual Process Server is not going to have any conversation with you about any debt you owe, nor will they demand payment from you. If something like this happens, immediately call local law enforcement and make a full report including as much descriptive information as you can give them of the person impersonating a court officer.
