Rep by the name of Julia Steel from NCR & Associates, stated she had pending allegations against me in another county and has my name and ss#. This has scam all over it.

I received a similar call for a loan I forgot to pay.. they seem like a legitimate collection agency and even removed it from my credit.. its unfortunate people always jump to scam these days, if they have your name in social what purpose would it serve to call you? You clearly sound like someone who just doesnt pay their bills.. bum..

Did you call the orignal creditor and follow the "chain of title"? When NCR contacted me I thought the same thing until I checked that my loan wasn't paid off.. they were able to settle my account for less than what I owed.. no threats either.
