Yes...they called four times today.  Claiming that he was going to serve us papers tomorrow to appear in court if we didn't cooperate.  Gave us claim number telling us to call this number and then when we did he asked for social. It has to be some type of scam.

No one ever gives you notice of service, and only the sheriffs office can serve papers.

So, yeah, it's a scam. Report them to your states Attorney General.

Same thing with me, called "regarding documents that were submitted for processing under my name and SS#" That since I didn't respond to them they were going to visit my home and work address and if unsuccessful would proceed without my involvement.  That message was left yesterday. No surprise that I didn't have any "visitors" today.  I called and it went to voicemail. No company identification...I left a cease and desist message.
