Odd number "844" did not answer and left no message

SAME AS MARTY, NO MESSAGE

This scammer calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. They further violate the TCPA by refusing to provide a non-toll-free phone number or a physical address when asked. They are calling to offer discounted credit card processing services, but refuse to comply with federal law otherwise, so it is clear that their credit card processing service is some kind of scam. Do not provide this scammer with any personal or financial information.

844-284-0931   Called  and  I  actually answered it as my business number as I was talking with a client, I said to I my client wait a second, and FLASHED between calls  - to which the  guy on the other end of 844-284-0931 said great - I'll  call you later,  instead of giving me his name and  telling me  what it  was about.  Later I  got to thinking, I've  be barraged  by political operatives trying to  validate the phone number(s)  we  have.  So this one is going on the blocked calls list  for  a couple of months until primary season is over,   as I hate to  talk to politicians  representatives trying to sway votes.

The phone display read "Toll Free" so I let the answering machine pick up. Caller left no message; just dead air-time.
