The phone display read "Toll Free."  I let the answering machine get it.  But the (robo?) caller left no message.

This is a telemarketer that is trying to save you money on taking credit cards. they only answer as "national" which means they are intentionally trying to hide who they are

Got this same call a few minutes ago.
But did not answer it, and they left no message.

Same thing:  they just called, didn't recognize number and didn't answer, they left no message.

Got a call from this number a few times they for my husband, I tell them he is not available can I help them, there is just silence on the other end of the line they hang up.

Yes, it is a telemarketing scam company that only identifies itself as National. The lady who called me rolled over the name very fast, and never identified herself. I asked "National Who" and she asked me if I was accepting credit cards. I hung up immediately and never gave her the satisfaction whether I do or not. I immediately blocked the number with my cell phone carrier.

Be aware. National Scam company also has another number. It's 844-284-1086. They called me on that line first. I never answered the call on the 1087 number, as I went right to 800Notes, and bing bing, it's a scam number too!!

What I do know, is there's a scam going around where falsly identified credit card companies are telling you that their processing rate and fees are lower than anywhere else. If you are stupid enough to believe that, and give them your personal information, such as your SSN and bank account number and routing number, you left yourself wide open to a world of theft by these scam companies. I will not do business with anyone, and I mean ANYONE, who calls me on the phone. I only deal with reputable, known, established businesses.

I received a call, the number on the answering machine SAID 844-284-1087  but the caller ID showed 802-694-4057    no name ,  no message  just a hang up.  It is getting so that I hardly ever ANSWER the phone anymore, even though it iis a BUSINESS phone !   SO annoying with these scammer, telemarketer, people.... the DO NOT CALL LIST.... is a joke. I am getting MORE calls now then ever before.

Called me 2 days ago and during our conversation he hung up on me. Then called me today so I told him that he hung up on me 2 days ago and I hung up on him. How moronic to think that I would talk to him today?

Called me, lots of static on the line, asked for owner.  I asked what the call was in regard to and got "financial issue"  When I asked for more info caller asked if I one one of the financial decision makers.  When I said yes.  She then said give me a minute this is my first day and then she disconnected.

8442841087 called asked to send an e mail and needed my presence to go through the e mail together.
wanted me to sign up same day for credit card processing  I said no. She could not understand why end of story

Caller asked if I was *** and I asked who was calling. She said NSC or NCS and again asked if I was ***. When I answered "Yes" she immediately hung up on me.
