Wouldn't give me any information.  Just said that I owed a debt from 2012 Payday loan.  Ask to speak to the person who called me and they said they didn't know that person.  Asked to be transferred to the operator maybe that person could help me, they didn't have an operator.  I don't get it a law office with over 100 employees and no operator/receptionist.

I just got call as well, today gave name of Chris Thomas at Midland please call today.  First if you are a lawfirm wouldn't you say full name of business...total scam

This is bogus trying to gather unwarranted money

So these people called my brother, not even my phone number. Saying that the next day this guy was going to serve me with court papers, so be ready with an I.d., I work for the courts, court servers do not call someone and warn them that they are being served with papers. So whoever this company is a total scam. Don't call me! I know how the court system works. (P.s- I'm still waiting for them to show up lol)

I got a call from the same person Chris Thomas told me they have a case form May I have no idea what this is but it seem like fraud as he was not able to tell me a court date or let me know more information

I received a call, my parents received a call (and I'm in my 50s by the way), my daughter received a call, her husband received a call and my husband received a call from a local number.  The young lady provided a "case number" and provided me with 844.284.4814 to call back or a Subpoena would be issued.  I called the number and requesting more information - was told that I owed a debt and they were hired by their client to collect - I asked the following questions:
1. What is the name and address of your firm?  No answer and no information - very confrontational and argumentative.
2. Who is the client?  No answer - again, very confrontational and argumentative.
3. How did you get my information along with the contact information for my relatives? Public Record - I asked which public record because the numbers called are all cell numbers and not available to the public.  I was informed my questions are ridiculous and that I was obviously guilty of owing the debt since I was refusing to pay.

I am forever humiliated and some how, some way these types of scams have to stop.  I filed a police report and filed a complaint with the FTC.  I urge all to file the same reports and FREEZE YOUR CREDIT!

Received a call from a gentleman stating his name was Mark Carson. Never said the name of the company, just he was a case manager. Stated my ex-wife (divorced in 2011) owed a debt and that my name would appear on the public record. Urged me to contact her (haven't spoke to her in 5 years) about this matter because she probably doesn't know this is going on. I am filing a report with FCC next.

Called my x-wife saying if she did not return calls they would come to her  house .Asking about brother who have not seen in 15 years .Called my daughter asking also . I called number asking who they were . Said Midland but no other information without getting last 4 digits of SS . Said I would not unless they advised who they were . Hung up on me .I  called three more times , they hung up each time .
