This number is a scam they're trying to get your bank information to pay a debt said they're located in California and will only accept cash or your checking account information to make a payment if not they would either garnish your check or send out a warrant which is crazy would never give an address and were very rude when you ask questions about it being a scam do not trust this caller it is not legit.

Yes I got this same number and a message stating it was imperative that I call regarding legal documents and that if I did not call that they were going to show up at my work -- in the most threatening of voices. I jumped on google and found lots of cites stating that this number was a scam.

Your callers are Scammers. Garnishment can only occur after a Judgement is awarded by the court. Which means that this outfit will have to have you served & see you in a court of law. Needless to say, that is NOT going to happen because Scammers are far more afraid of courtrooms than any of their targets are!
If you really want to take the time, call down to your local Clerk of Courts offices & check on that "case number". I can 100% guarantee you that it is BOGUS!
    Be Safe. Be Aware.

CWG40 has ext3ensive information on these criminals here:  https://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-844-264-9379

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here, get template letters to send and also make a complaint at this government site: http://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

Called me on my daughters cell phone telling me they had legal docs for me.... I asked who they were talking about because i never heard them ask for someone by name.... They gave me a name and address and i notified them they had the wrong person. They couldn't say my name right and during the time they stated i owed money to some company i was deployed nor did i live in the state they are stating it occured. And how did they get my 11 year old daughters cell phone number. This is a scam and is on 3 government websites listed as such. Take caution and be aware.

I got a unknown call to my work place from a Mary Davis calling on behalf o Brockman - Legal Office of Brockman saying I am being served civil legal lawsuit against me and to call 844-284-5546 and give them a reference number they gave me.  I spoke with a mediator so he says and he said I owed money to a HSBC and I need to settle it right away since I never responded to the mail they send.  I am not going to fall for this unless it is coming straight from a Legal Court place.
