Received call saying there is a lawsuit against me and I need to respond immediately. When I called they answered "corporate offices" and when transfered they wouldn't give me any information as to who they were.

I got a voicemail from an unknown number but this number was a call back number they gave saying I was going to have a lawsuit filed against me.  They didn't even have my name right.  I didn't call them back because they were obviously full of crap.

Got a call about a civil action lawsuit being filed against me.Wanted my debit card number to set up a payment plan to keep from going to court.Is this place a Real one?

got a call from this number claiming I had a lawsuit pending they called my mother /sister and sisters mother in law leaving threatening messages.

This is highly illegal, report them to donotcall.gov

then report then to the FTC. Read about FDCPA law, they can't do that over a phone.

Never admit who you are over the phone, always ask who they are first.

Making threats is ILLEGAL!!  Report them to your state attorney general's 0office.
Also - if you were to really receive a summons, you would not be warned.
