- BigA replies to Schwaka| 3 repliesOh looky! He even registered to give him/herself credibility. Well that didn't work. So this bank paid you to come here and tell everyone that this is a "legitimate" call? You had nothing better to do but to look up your employer's phone number? Maybe you forgot who the number belonged to and then looked it up? One other thing, can you guarantee me 100% that every call from this number is legitimate and that the number could never be spoofed?
- En| 1 replySent a text about fraudulent activity and then followed up by spoofing my banks phone number.

- Merribeth BurnsI received a text from 49847. stating it was from Huntington Confirm it. Asking if I had used my card at Sam's Annex SA for $100. the text mentioned the last 4 numbers from the debit card. It wanted me to call 844-285-5928. I did not call the number. This number was nowhere on the Huntington Bank website. I reported this to Huntington Bank Fraud Department by email. I also looked up the number on whitepages and it came back as unknown. I believe it was a phishing scam.

- B-Edwards replies to NeekThis is a debt scam wrapped in a spam text. DO NOT respond, at best they will start calling and harassing you. They also might start making claims that you are confirming you are responsible for an unpaid debt. Forward the text to 7726 as spam. That should block the sending number as well.
- Molly replies to RhondaThanks. I thought so.

- JayReceived the same text today as well. Called, even had a Huntington message when put on hold. I did not call from my cell phone but a business phone as a precaution. As I expected, did not introduce himself immediately asked for my card number when I said I didn't have it asked for my account number or social security number. I immediately hung up and googled the number to find this thread.

- O replies to CFThat is Huntington bank. I got some of the texts and I have an Xbox which it started to decline my Xbox gamepass. Which I called the actual bank. It is a Huntington number trying to prevent fraud on your account. However I was wondering at first until I called the bank and looked at the app. They still to this day continue to cancel my game pass and I have to keep calling the bank.
- I checked it out replies to SchwakaI called the #, then asked him for a way to identify himself. he have me an H#, and said he would add a note to my account. i then called the huntington 800# to find out if i was being scammed. the rep at the hunting 800# confirmed that the H# was legitimate, confirmed the note on the account, and confirmed the fraud alert text message/844# is also legitimate.
