State Farm claims, stayed on hold for 15 mins, was cold transferred, went off told them not to call anymore and I hung up. I don't even own a car, and do not live in Missouri where the claim was from. Should have taken all of FIVE to say "Okay, that's not you, thank you for your time". Sketchy call State Farm Spanish call. Claimed they were calling about a accident I recently had. I had no accident! Don't call them back and report them to do not call.gov!

This is a legit number. It was State Farms claims department, discussing a traffic accident that I had.

The caller ID says "Toll Free Caller" because it is a toll free call to the State Farms Claims dept. They should update their CallerID text...

Received a call from this number. The gentleman on the other end was a claims adjuster wanting to discuss the damage to my 2014 Honda Civic. My husband and I do not own a Honda Civic. Trying to contact to see what is up.

unknown number did not answer the phone so they left me a message and stated that is was State Farm Insurance about the letter and claim I had going on she said she will call me back in 10 min now that I know who this number is. We will see if they actually follow through and call me back they have sooooo many numbers you can't figure out who's calling you and I do not answer my phone when I do not recognize the number, to many scammers out there............

Follow-up to everyone on my prior posting, yes they called me back and I spoke with a very nice lady named Fran She went over everything and helped me with my problem I was having.  A BIG Thank You to her. It's nice to know that there are still good people out there that will go that extra mile to help you.

Received a voice mail from this number claiming to be State Farm following up on a claim with my motorcycle.  I don't own a motorcycle, i don't have State Farm, nor have I been in an accident or filed a claim in the last five years.  The guy spoke in an accent and was difficult to understand, like he was mumbling. I can only assume this is a scam or State Farm needs to get their act together.

Missed the call. Researched the number to be State Farm. I do not drive, own a car, or been in any accidents.  I have not owned a car since 2003. I have no idea why they would be calling me.

State Farm.  Calling to discuss a recent claim.

This number was a legit call from a State Farm rep to review details of an auto accident I had witnessed, and offered to be a witness for the woman who was hit.  No problems.  This was a few months back.

State Farm, left a message about a claim number, apparently a wrong number though as it wasn't addressed to me and I don't use State Farm...

This is a real call from State Farm Insurance Claims Dept.
They call person(s) involved in situations with SF clients.
They may be wanting to pay you money on a claim.

Got a call from this number he wanted a report about the accident but started asking personal questions about who all live in my home, how many cars I have, and etc. never once was I asked about what occurred at the scene of the accident. I hung up..

It is certainly State Farm Claims Dept.  However, if someone gave them a wrong number -- or a Claims Representative entered a phone number incorrectly -- they can only call what is in their computerized claim form.  They do ask a lot of questions that are related to statistical analysis (number of drivers and children in a home, number and types of vehicles, ages, commutes, etc.) which they they report to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and, I'm sure, to their actuaries who establish the insurance rates.

So, if they call and it's not you with either a claim against their client, you as a client with a claim, or a witness, then they just got a wrong number.

This is State Farm. For those contacted by this number who don't have a claim, it's quite possible that in the many many calls reps make, every once in awhile someone either dials the wrong number or someone has entered it wrong in their database.  Let those among us who have never misdialed cast the first stone...

Call the number...it's State Farm call center.  Was suspicious at first but, in my case it was legit. The call was a claim I had from three months ago on an accident.

State Farm gave me this number, in writing, to call if I wanted to discuss my claim. There is no voice mail, there is no way to leave a message.  They also provided a fax number in a letter they sent me.  The number does not allow you to complete the call.  I am not a State Farm insured, I am the party that was injured by their insured.  I believe they are trying as hard as possible to delay any settlement until the statute of limitations makes it unreasonable to retain an attorney.  Their telephone system is either designed and operated by incompetent people, or it is all part of a game they playing.
