Got a call from a Jackie from some company, but my phone transcribed it as “Jackie from Ben Broccoli” lol. Ben Groff/Brock Williams makes more sense. Definitely a scam. I’ve no debt that would be collected via a third party collector. If I owed something in the past, I’ve been contacted directly.

Left same messsge to me.  Jackie does not verify who she wants to talk with or any info...just to call back immediately. Good luck with that!

I got same message. Said I owe a debit. Just lost my hubby so I told her sue me.  I have no car,no money,no property,no jewelry I own NOTHING .  So sue me 😃😛

Said it was from a law firm.  I owed a debit. I said sue me I HAVE NOTHING.

A woman by the name of either Jackie Mitchell or Mitchum left a voicemail and said she was calling from Ben Groff Williams Inc to discuss an important matter. She stated that I should call back immediately at 844-312-1108. They still scamming people I see

I got a message from this number, no information , just telling me to call them back,.

I receive calls and messages once or twice a day, saying “This is Jackie Mitchum calling from den rock Williams Inc. please contact me at 844-312-1108 thank you…”

It seems a lot of people have poor hearing in this thread.  This appears to be the following debt collector:

According to the complaints/reviews at the BBB some or all of the collections are subrogation claims and are not subject to the FDCPA.

You will need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt, and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

Please note that this criminal enterprise also does subrogation work which is not covered under the FDCPA:

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.  

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.  If and when you get that letter you should immediately send that debt validation letter by certified, return receipt mail.

Got a call from this number almost daily. All it mentions is its Jackie Menchins or whatever, from some weird company name like "vencrosy vensin encorporated", and to call them back. No mention they're trying to talk to ME, or what their purpose is. I blocked the call and just delete the voicemails i get from them. extremely sketchy.

they called saying i owed xx for lab work. they had wrong insurance information. For a lab doesn't exist anymore..
