Text message leading to a supposed sex website. Addressed me by name and location.

Tried to get my girlfriend in trouble for posting a sexual video

Sent me link to a sexually-oriented website. Somehow found a friend's picture from Facebook. Addressed me by first and last name.

Addressed me by full name and location, told me there was a video from "Laura" and I should click through to a "secure pic" site to view it. I didn't think it wise to follow the instructions.

Just got a text from the same number, from "Laura", and stated my location. Didn't click on the link because of the similarities to others here. Scary.

Same experience as everyone else

This looks like a phishing scam.  More than likely gathered some info from Facebook or other social site because I received the same message containing my wife's name and location.  I did not click it.  I would advise against it.

Received a text similar to everyone else.  Had my full name, location, and said a friend had posted a video 3 minutes ago.  Complete with link.  Don't click the link.  It is an unsavory web site.

Contacted my brother with my Facebook profile photo, he didn’t tell me it took him to an unsavory site but informed me that someone was using my information.

Phishing scam that uses friends facebook profile photos to lure you into viewing a pornographic website

Got a text message from this number saying it was my daughter leading me to a porn site. Didn't click. Thanks to this site!!!
