    My insurance switched to a local med supply place for CPAP supplies... The local place says if you want reminders to order, go to Resmed's (the maunufacture) website. Resmed doesn't tell you that they will make you take surveys, call EARLY in the morning, and just in general make your life a pain...

    Problem is that many of these Bill Collectors are outsourced companies, and refuse to believe number on file is correct no matter what. They will not believe someone changed their number or given wrong number. Many of these collectors record any info gathered to get you to pay.

    And worst of all, from past job experience of dealing with phone fraud, I learned that many of these companies "sell" the collection contract to multiple collection companies, so even if you pay off one others will keep trying to collect

    That's why you never pay anyone claiming you owe money without documented proof sent via US mail that you owe the debt and that they're legally entitled to collect it. Phone calls, faxes, texts, and emails are not legal methods of debt validation.

    They've been calling us for over a year.  They call every day - early morning - for a couple weeks and then don't call for couple weeks and then it starts again.  I hand up on them after the 2nd ring.  None of us are using a cpap.

    Been called twice, maybe 2-3 weeks apart, left message, repeated SAME message twice maybe 3 times, finally gave a number (844-371-8195) to call back or their website, myresupply (couldn't understand the rest but the URL is longer. No intention of returning call.

    They keep calling. Their calls are blocked. So they can't get thru but they keep trying 3 to 4 times a month anyway.

    Block the their number if you can . We did that, and now our phone doesn't when they call but it still shows up on our incoming call log.

    This is a call from the CPAP company ResMed.  Multiple Durable Medical Equipment (DME) providers supply this machine and ResMed helps the DME's to remind patients to re-order supplies.  THIS IS NOT A SCAM, DEBT COLLECTOR OR SURVEY COMPANY.  If you have a CPAP machine or other Sleep Apnea equipment that is not implanted from ResMed, you will probably get a call from this number.
