I would like to know who this is

They called mybphine said they was third party. Said it they wanted our social security number we said no asked the for their address and fax so we can give it to our lawyer they put us on hold never came back to phone. We called again they put us on hold again we waited they came back to the phone we asked for the same thing address fax number she said ok hold and never came back. We think its someone trying to get peoples info.

Received a call advising of a complaint that had been filed against me. Was told to call the toll number and advise of case #LJ1463. When calling toll number, the lady asked for the last 4 of SSN and then said it was the wrong person. She said the phone number would be removed. Since the metro area has at least 5 or 6 people with the same name, the lady still could not tell me the nature of the complaint  due to "confidential information involved."

Same people have been calling for over a year now. I tell them I refuse to give them my social or address.  We have never tried to hide from anything. The number is sometimes from a LA caller advising to call this 844 number with the case number. Really if a case has been filed in court and you have a case number then you have my address.

I just received a similar call from this number. First, they had a "location service" call me to track me down. The location service gave me the 844 number and a case #.
When I called, they alleged that they were attempting to collect a debt from 2000! Surely statute of limitations has expired. It was supposedly from an HSBC credit card that I KNEW I never had open.
They threatened to take me to court and that a subpoena would be served to my place of employment within 2-3 hours. Then they conveniently offered me an option to settle out of court, over the phone, right then and there for significantly less than they would attempt to get from me in a lawsuit. It's intimidation tactics over false charges that never existed (I verified with HSBC that nothing was ever opened against my social).
When I called back after speaking with HSBC, a different person answered and they said it was in reference to an old Sprint bill. Which one is it people?! Sprint or HSBC? They hung up on me when I told them I was reporting them to the state's attorney general and federal trade commision.
Such a blatant scam. GIVE THEM NO INFORMATION AND TELL THEM TO STOP CONTACTING YOU IMMEDIATELY!

The stupid sob's told me I had a lawsuit against me. Wanted my social. I asked why he would not have it. he said three numbers and I told him he was wrong. Then the dumb basterd said I was the wrong person and he would take me off the list. I asked how you could be taken off a list for a damn lawsuit. The  focker  hung up. DO NOT GIVE THESE [***] NO PERSONAL INFO.

A real debt collector doesn't need to ask you to confirm your name, address, birthday, social security number - anything. They have it. Any call you get where they ask you to confirm personal information, get them to tell you first - as you did. Otherwise just hang up on them. They can't scam you if they can't talk to you.

There has to be something to do about these thieving pieces of [***]. I just called back and talked to a lady and asked her how much money they make doing this. SHE HUNG UP. I just wonder how many pour ppl get scared and give them info? It makes me want to knock their head off.

The Badge is correct.  They would have your information.  As for the woman hanging up - would a real, legitimate  company do that??    Actually did they ever give a name for the company?

the 844 # has been associated with PAS Legal 31091 Rancho California Rd, Temecula 92567.   That address itself does not search to anything, but there is as US post office at 30777 Rancho California Rd near the other alleged address.

scam appears to be about.   they implied there was a big rush to respond, and to contact

Got the call from the 213 area just like everyone else..told to call the 844 number just like everyone else..called from a blocked number..Anthony answered the phone..I told him I had a case number..her put me on hold and never came back. What a bunch of idiots! Don't give any info to these people! SCAM!!

(213)261-7843 called claiming to be debt collector for Sprint and said they have a lawsuit again me. instructed me to call 1(844)373-7843 within 2hrs or will have $800+legal fees. $387 needs to be paid today. Gave me acct# and wanted SS# to confirm. Phone SCAM. phone SCAM. do not trust these numbers.

ATTENTION EVERYONE-  Make sure you record any and every number that has an 844 area code.  ASK questions, get REAL names and locations by whatever means necessary.  These people ARE SCUM and liars.  DO NOT BE WORRIED.  DO GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!  We can put these people away if we work together and keep gathering information on them.  Write down everything and record everything.  I have already talked to a lawyer and this is what he told me to do but we can't do it alone if we want justice.  These people got really personal and rude with me so let's get really personal and rude with them.  I will check in when I can.  Let's do this so we can help the next person they try to mentally assault.

I Just received a message form an old friend, he received a call from this people, they told my friend that they have a claim against me with file # NW5584, I didn't even had my friends number. when I call there is an answer machine.

The people who called me from this phone number were trying to reach my sister. At first they called me from an LA area phone number. The said they were PAS legal located in 31091 rancho california rd temecula ca 92563. I googled the address and their is nothing there. After them telling me that I needed to hurry up and tell my sister the confirmation code which I did I decided to investigate. The claim that they were saying was that my sister owed money and they even had an associated phone number. After looking at my sister credit report and noticing that there was nothing on collection I knew this was a scam. Also I asked them to spell my sister name, when they did they spelled it incorrectly. I did not give them the correct spelling that way they do not have any real info. WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT I SAY AGAIN DO NOT PAY ANYTHING TO THIS PPL. I am informing the state of CA about this and they should be out soon. Also I have a live feed to satellites due to my job, I put in that address when I got to work and there was nothing around but houses and empty parking lots.

Called and asked for the address for information. Spoke to Jennifer Gates and she hung up on me, THIS IS A SCAM... They need to be locked up.
