Scam calls. They called my family members looking for me, telling them that there was a court order in my name.

Robo voicemail saying there was a pending judgment attached to my SSN, but can't provide any specific information regarding supposed debt, and become combative when asked for it.

Judgement against my ssn.

Annoying scammers called and left a vm saying there’s a judgement against my SSN and they will take action unless I call back and resolve the matter no other information pertaining to the “case” provided.

Judgements are done IN COURT & by a judge.  This caller is a LAIR & crook.

The vague scare tactic message is designed to panic a victim into calling back.

Most debt collectors will use a certain amount of pressure to convince you to pay the debt. After all, they often don't get paid unless you pay. Be suspicious of a debt collector who uses an unusual amount of pressure to get you to pay immediately, particularly if they also use scare tactics to get you to pay right away. For example, a debt collector is scamming you if it :

• threatens you with a lawsuit and tells that you can avoid the lawsuit by paying right away
• Says a Process Server  or Courier is coming with papers to sign
• Threatens to call / go to your place of employment
• Insists you have been notified, served or are non-compliant via phone message(s)
• Refuses to give a company name or verifiable Contact source
• Refuses to send proof of debt via US mail

A sure sign of a debt collection scam is a collector that wants to you to pay via wire transfer or another method that can't be traced. If the payment method can't be traced, you'll have a harder time getting the authorities involved.

If the creditor sounds completely foreign, or you know you never had an account with that business, there's a chance it's a scam. Never pay a collection you don't recognize. You have the right to request written proof of the debt from the debt collector before you send payment.

Robo call listed as Amer Legl Recvy with a phone number of 888-661-0205 has called for the past 3 months daily states a Judgment complaint is being filled in with my name and social security number. says to press one or call 884-385-4640 to discuss this matter. phishing scam and not legit. I have turned this caller over to authorities multiple times but its difficult to stop scammers who use fake numbers and arent even in this country.

They repeated called my number for another person with a "legal action".  Until now I thought it was a legitimate wrong number on a legitimate debt collection and I told them several times (every few months) that I was not her and they were calling a wrong number.  They pretended to remove my number and kept calling back about once a week for a year or more, which 90% of the time I just ignore.   Lately when I ask them to remove my number from their call list I ask for their legal address because I intend to serve legal papers on them for bothering me, and they either hang up on me or say they do not give out their address, and also say they have removed my number from their list.  Now I see from this site the person they are trying to call is probably not a deadbeat or a diseased person, but a potential scam victim.

I have blocked several of their incoming numbers.

Her name is Latoya Pointier and she is from Buffalo, NY.  You should contact the authorities as she is doing business without a license and of course, is not paying taxes on her scammed $$$, which the state of NY would be more concerned about than anything else.

called saying they had a jugmnt, provided no info and advised wld garnish my wages, guy hung up on me, put in notes i was using foul language, which i wasn't, called back and spoke with a brenda wells, 1st person i believe was a charles
