It is a threat, purportedly from the CRA, threatening to freeze my bank account and an officer will come to my door, etc. if I don't pay the taxes I owe....

Another CRA phone scam. I said," Fuc_ you, you criminal Motherfuc___, I'm reporting this number to the police and CRA"!

A CRC message threatening that if we didn't call them that we would have our assets frozen.  Scam

Supposedly an agent from CRA Criminal Investigation office called threatening to freeze my bank accounts and assets because they had  accessed my returns from 2009-2013 and said that I had fraudulent information on them and I owed money.  I call the real Revenue Canada and they advised me that this is a scam. Please note that the person I spoke to told me his name was Jordan Morris Badge #3980. Be careful. Everyone. Do not give any personal information

received this scam message...sent my husband over the top...what a load of crap...no name just a threat and a phone number....

Just received the robocop (voice) claiming to be CRA threatening to freeze my asset and send collection agency my way.

Just got the same call.  What a scam!

thank god it sounded odd enough that I checked the number (844-385-9046) and got here.  The number that called me was 780-368-0200.  We need more jails.....

I to received a threatening message. What idiots!

Voicemail message threatening action if no response from myself or my attorney. This is the 5th or 6th similar call over the past few weeks, not always same number. When I called back previously to two different numbers, both were no longer in service. When I called 1-844-385-9046 today, it was answered "CRA Tax Crime Investigations". The fellow gave his name as Jordan Johnston (name did not match accent) and position of Tax Crime Investigations Officer. I supposedly have committed tax fraud and tax evasion which I said was in no way true. He said (very unprofessionally), "I don't want to hear your excuses. The police will be at your door, your bank account will be frozen." I laughed and said there was no way this was valid because such dealings would be professionally addressed in the form an official letter, not a voicemail message. When I asked for the name of the person he reported to directly, he yelled, "The police will be at your door!! Have a nice day!" and disconnected. The other number showing up on my phone is 1-780-398-0400.

Just had the same message, I then called him back after 5 pm and said those are  not government  hours and said I had called the police he hung up pretty fast

I got a voicemail from this number saying Canada Revenue Agency calling ...... to call back immediately or else a bill collection officer will visit soon to complete paperwork! Also talks of legal consequences. Said 'goodbye' to end the call. Yesterday a different message was sent using 613 area code no. and it ended with 'God Bless'. Understand this to be certainly a scam.

Stated from CRA and they were taking me to court for fraud and tax evasion and asked if I had a lawyer. As I know I do not owe any taxes and CRA would never make contact in this manner I simply told them I knew it was a scam and hung up.

Same as all the above. My phone has a call blocker. Yours probably has one too. I added the number to the blocked list.
