Ohio Edison/First Energy - Pay your bill

Received a call from this, stating they have an urgent message for (my mother) and to call back immediately. I told my mom, who btw has never been associated with my number, and certainly not under the last name they used...just in case. She told me she has used online bill pay and email statements for years. She checked, she was actually almost $20 ahead after meter reading adjustments were made.
I gotta call bs on this one. A 5+ year old last name for a person never associated with this cell number, and when no info from a verified source can be matched...nah.
