- NygirlwriterReceived a suspicious email with 2 calls. When I looked up the number didn't look right. The email bounced back stating Samantha Wilson was not verified and I blocked both. They're pretending to be realtor.com. I will follow up with the company as well as FTC to report.
- Caller: Fake realtor.com
- BobContacted realtor.com. Got phone call from a number I did not recognize and did not answer. Then got email from "Samantha" witth a phone number, different from the number that called me a few minutes before. Spoke to someone with British accent. Looked up the number I called a found other people thinking it is a scam. I agree.

- Greg| 1 replyI have used the 800Notes site for many years and find most comments to be very helpful - especially in the world of scam callers. But I do not think this number (844-505-4423) is any type of scam. I am in the market to purchase a house and I often contact both Redfin and Realtor - two of the largest online real estate organizations. When Realtor company calls me back - this is the number they usually call from. Also, I have received confirmation of this phone number from their emails and by their customer service personnel. NOT saying it the phone number cannot be spoofed (ANY phone number can be spoofed) - but this number apparently does belong to the Realtor.com organization.
- Caller: Realtor.com company
- Call type: Valid
- B-Edwards replies to GregIf you are getting calls you solicited, expect and want, why posting here? Your post functions as a spam ad and preemptive shill post and may be removed.
- Resident47I'm willing to accept that the News Corp marketing vehicle known as "Realtor.com" could use the subject phone number for responses to prospects. Looks like canned calls are triggered after someone submits an inquiry online. So far nothing to worry about, until you weigh the call complaints. Recipients seem at best confused and at worst surprised, maybe taking those calls totally cold. The operative phrase here is "reasonable expectation", and canned sales calls must clear that hurdle to remain legal.
Several related phone numbers have attracted a group of soundalike canned sales calls in the YouMail honeypot. Stated several ways in a rehearsed tone, they all want to "connect you with a local expert" or "agent" or "loan officer". Two of the four known characters, "Kate" and "Victoria", are obviously performed by the same woman. These people are voice actors and not real estate agents. They're creepy when indirectly invited to call and I'm sure very annoying when not.
