This is a collection agency out of West Seneca Ny who spoof their numbers via text and phone

Text messages used for debt collection are still illegal.

You will need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt, and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):  http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it.  You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.  

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.  If and when you get that letter you should immediately send that debt validation letter by certified, return receipt mail.

I got the same message via text.  Im blocking them but they have several rollover lines.  Now I'm reporting them. And sending a letter via signature required.

I was called & text from different numbers constantly. The 1st called extremely hateful younger guy, said I owe  money for a security system bought in Feb. 2017. He even read off my security number. I never give that to anyone. That security system was never even opened, & was sent back . She found one cheaper. Even after sent back they kept taking money out of her acc. She had to change bank accounts to stop withdrawals. November 2020 is when I got the 1st call. Now sending texts from different numbers tell us to call P&B at 844-505-9525 to discuss time sensitive account. This upsets me even more after finding out these people are criminal. They know this system was sent back, thats why they waited over 3 yrs to start these contacts.

Getting texts as well I keep blocking and they keep calling and texting from different numbers. One number last week said Dagsboro Delaware. Every text says something a little different one said my account has changed to call 1-844-505-9525. The one today said my payment didn’t go through to call the same number 1-844-505-9525. The text today came from 1-855-441-0356 we never talked to them or authorized any payment. We don’t even know what this is for sounds and seems like a scam.

I have the same experience. I receive a text every few weeks exactly like the ones described about, although with a different file number. I've never responded, but immediately Googled the number and found this information. Thanks, BigA !

Every other post in this thread mentions debt collection.  Then you come by with a junk mail complaint and it isn't even in the right thread.
