I JUST RECIVED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER THEY HAVE ALL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION AND IS SAYING I HAVE HOT CHECK OR LOAN IN MY NAME BUT THEY HAVE ALL OF THE WRONG EMPLOYER INFORMATION THEY GIVING ME STUFF FROM WHEN I WAS UNDER 18 AND I THINK ITS A SCAM.

They just called my work number and left threating message for my daughter.  I think it is a scam when I called back he kept acting like he was different people and would act the phone was cutting out and wouldn't give me his info.

Keeps leaving message saying the are trying to deliver a message to several address and employers and to contact plaintiff at this #, they have the wrong person and need to stop calling

This phone number is contacting my ex husband as well as my best friend, and telling them I have a court date coming up with a case number provided to my best friend. I am not sure as to how they got my ex husband and best friend contact information. The call is coming up unknown on the caller ID. This need to be stopped because I am not sure as to what this is all about, and if I had a court date, I believe I would be served; not via telephone through relatives.

I got a message from my brother stating that this number had called under the name of Mike Lordto with a case number talking about serving me. Yes i agree a scam ppl do not get served via phone. just want to acquire personal information. BOGUS

This is a common ploy by criminals attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this,  all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

I received a call from this 844-536-9335. I wasn't at home, and someone else took the call. Told them that I had papers that needed to be on me, and they were going to serve them on me at my job that I hadn't worked at in 12 years. Said that I had a court date.

Just got a call from this number, I did not answer it, and I blocked the number from calling me again

I received a text message from this number saying my mortgage account was "locked" and in he message told me to call another number to "unlock". When I looked that # up it belonged to a adoption website.... Wondering if that's a scam too.....
