Left a message for me at my grandparents. Need to know name of the company.

I found one site that associates this phone number with 210th. Street in Huron, SD but these debt collectors, particularly the fake ones, spoof numbers so it's difficult to know.  It is, however, illegal for a debt collector not to identify themselves when they speak to you.  If you decide to speak to them on the phone follow the suggestions from the FTC to differentiate real from fake debt collectors.  If you owe a debt, you still have rights.  Read about these as well from the FTC.  These are the sites:

Be cautious of phantom debt (read above) and NEVER give them any information or acknowledge any debt on the phone.  Tell them to send written proof via the USPS (not an email).  If they cannot do that, you do not owe them anything.

Yes, got a recorded call from these folks too, but they didn't leave their business name, just a phony "account #" and asked that I call them back at 844-536-9342.  They called from #731-410-2842 with my supposed account #489170 and that I must call them back immediately...............guess what......haven't called them and I won't.................don't have any debts and I know it...................they need to get real jobs like the rest of us................don't fall for their nonesense..........follow Pudge's advice above...................

Same as above. spoofed a 707  area code with same msg. auto calls are gettin' annoying.....

Incoming call from same area code I live in but voicemail message left an acct# and a call back number 844-536-9342. Stating a "very serious business matter". They purposely set up their calls to match the area code their victims live in so that they will answer. Ha, nice try idiots.

Phone call from this number that was a recorded message with an account number. No company name.
They also must have done skip tracing because they also called my ex-husband.

Local area code 847 (same as my cell) and then 844-536-9342. The last time they called me was over a month ago on 04/20

Spoofed from my area code with this call back number.  They are a fraud, not a real debt collector.

Getting calls from this number - using my local area code - provide an account number, asking for a call back at 844-536-9342; they state the dept is for my husband's niece. Have repeatedly told them not to call. Will try blocking the number from my phone but am sure the number changes.

Thank you all very much! One thing I have learned is that if it is a legitimate debt collector they will go out of their way to give you information you have requested and they are not hard to contact, and will NOT spoof a number.

I have dealt with legit debt collectors (I do have some debt, not much) and you can tell the difference.

So i got a call from this number which used vitelity llc to change the number to one from my area.  I called the number back since these calls have been going on for a while and i'm really annoyed with them.  They are a scam so don't give them any information.  They are trying to collect on a debt i had paid 2 years ago.  I spoke with Payton and she said the company was recovery solutions/services or something like that.  But i could tell they were a scam because when i told her to send me documents in the mail she said well i can email them to you and i responded with no it's my right to have them sent to me in the mail. She hesitated and tried to verify my address and i told her if this was legit they would have my correct address and i wasn't verifying anything.  So she said she was going to file this as a direct refusal and as i was saying something she hung up on me.  So point of my story is to not give them any information.

I received a voicemail on my cell phone from 319-214-7239 and was to call 844-536-9342. Deleted message and will not be calling anybody back.
