several calls a day and no one there

CIC calls my home and cell phone frequently - loans by phone.  I never initiated these calls, and even when I ask to be removed from their list they continue calling.  Harassment!!

Check Into Cash aka Loan By Phone - Called to collect a debt for a person who does not work for our company. Caller wouldnt take the Number out of the system, He stated the only way the number was to pay the debt, umm this is my business and this person never worked for me. I received a call from this number saying that I, not someone else, owed Loan By Phone money on an account opened in my name.  Somehow, they called my cell, my wife's cell and my home phone. I have never done business with this company and never even heard of them until they started telling me that an account that I opened was past due.  Obviously, I will be reporting this as fraud and will NOT pay a penny, but is it a pain to have to waste all the time jumping through all of the hoops necessary.  Why do people do this stuff?

Very rude, pushy...."have to pay within 10 minutes or further  action will be taken" not good customer service at all!!! Even when i calmly stated that i want to make a payment arrangement, still rude

Why would you pay them?? Everyone is saying its a scam.. lol. they've called me but I never answer numbers I don't know. Just look em up later

This is pretty much a debt scamming operation.

Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  DIME  until the debt is validated.

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply block their calls and ignore them.

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.  If you can find them.

Have not done any business with them. Just ignore it.

these people keep Calling, asking for a Melinda Earles or Earls or somebody or someone I Do NOT Know. Sounds Like THIS Lady? Has Some SERIOUS Debt Going On, And HAS Decided To Slither Out Of IT, By Putting The RESPONSIBILITY Upon OTHER People, AND Society Too. Way To GO, You Sneaky Little Rat, Melinda Earls or Earles, Or Whatever YOUR Name Actually IS!

The Do not Call registry does not apply to debt collectors, they only apply to telemarketers and sales reps. You would have to file a complaint with the company itself if the agent would not remove your numbers. IF a third party such as yourself indicates a consumer does not work/reside at the residence of the number the number should be removed.
