Called my home phone.  I did not recognize the number and did not answer.  A recorded message was left.  The beginning of the message was cut off because the message began playing as soon as my answering machine began it's message.  The message stated something about a subscription I supposedly had (I don't) and that if I wanted to cancel the subscription to call them or they would automatically debit my account on 27 July.  I'm betting this is a scam to get information from you.  I did google the number and found nothing on it so I decided to make an entry on 800notes.

Same as Mark's experience. The recording was very poor quality by the end of the message. Sounds like a scam to me.

I got the exact same message as Mark. Its a scam for sure.

Same here. Scammers I am sure! Will block. But the they just use another number. I have reached my 200 numbers limit on Verizon so I have to unblock older ones. Frustrating.

Just had this call today. Good to know it was a scam.

My sister received this same message about 11am today. She did not call the number back but he did call again. She answered this time. He claimed that if she didn't cancel some subscription on her computer her account would be debited on July 27th, an amount of over $300. He kept telling her to access her computer. She said it seemed very sketchy so she hung up.

7.23.19 @ 11:50 AM-- Caller ID displayed: "800 Service" (844-541-1444)-- Same experience as everyone else!  Very difficult-to-understand robo voice left a message, stating that my account would be charged on July 27th for computer technical support, because my subscription was about to expire!  Just one little problem with that:  I DON'T have any type of "subscription" for computer technical support, and I don't know what "account" would be charged???  Definitely a SCAMMER, using a spoofed name and number, along with a bogus message, attempting to obtain personal information.  DON'T answer!

Same just happened to me. DO not answer and DO not call back. It is a scam, just block the number!!!

I had the same thing happen on July 24th.  Cut off so I didn't know what it was about.  Called and it automatically hung up.

I didn't pick up because I didn't recognize the number and nothing populated in the caller ID. Left a message which the first part was cut off. Saying what the presumed account number is and that the amount will be automatically debited from my account on the 27th of July.

I got a  call saying to call this number (on 7/25/19), same as everyone else who has reported it.  I figured it was a scam and don't intend to call back, but it does make me nervous to be threatened with a charge to my "account", not knowing what account or who the heck they are!  Thanks to people who reported, I know I'm not alone.
