IRS Scam Call.

More details regarding IRS Scam call received from 844-557-1386. The message seemed computer generated. The scammer' implied my home and possessions were being monitored by the IRS; and, that it was imperative I speak with them. I disconnected the call before listening to the entire message.

I've been called at least 4 times.  They have even left voice messages where a woman's voice says that my property and I are being monitored and to call the number.

I received a call and threat that someone is watching my house and has a warrant against me saying that I owe the IRS $1,988 I called the number back and spoke with someone who states their name is Mike Watson he gave me an account# 4480240731 said that i needed to pay $300 today and make monthly payments to them and to go to a CVS or Walgreens as soon as possible. The scammer' implied my home and possessions were being monitored by the IRS; and, that it was imperative I speak with them.

Called me and said they were monitoring my property and that it was imperative I call them back to avoid legal action.  I called back and got some Indian guy who knew my name.  Then he asked if I'd listened to the message and I said no, what is this regarding and he said, "hold on" then put me on hold for five minutes.  I hung up.

I received a call from IRS tax crime department that said an arrest was issued for me and the name was Alice and her direct line was 844-557-1386

Same thing - computer-generated voice telling me there's hell to pay if I don't call right back and sign over my soul - amazing.  (While I have no doubt that we're all being monitored, I don't think it's by this bunch.)  :-)

Got this call from (844) 557-1386 with a recorded (scam) call with a threat about some vague/undefined 'legal action'.  Of all these predatory robocall scams, I hate this one the most.  These types of threatening calls (unlike the typical credit card, senior alert, free gift, etc, scams) can actually frighten vulnerable people (e.g. the elderly) into falling for this scam.  Notice that they don't have your name, say who they are, tell you what this about and, importantly, if you call the number back you usually can't connect.  All hallmarks of these ubiquitous robocall scams!!
