Leaves some strange message about some order and charging card 299.00 unless you call to cancel...can't understand what they're supposedly mailing

Female voice says my "account" (credit card? bank?) will be charged "$299" unless I call back to "change or cancel."  My guess is that if you do call them back to  "cancel," they'll ask for your "account number," whichever they can get and then put phony charges on it.  It appears to be a sort of identity theft scam. It might not even originate in the United States, I haven't checked.

Same as above comments...so tired of this crap. V11402430900063 is how the number appears first...

??Security subscription charge of $299 to be charge to my Credit card if I don’t call back to cancel. They’re calling from Milpitas

Been getting calls several times a day from this number for over a week now--very annoying.  No message.

Returned call back to 1-844-557-3374 in reference to message left that they were going to charge my credit card if I didn’t cancel a subscription on something.  Man answered and said they were with Microsoft and were trying to return money because company was going out of business. Wanted to go into my computer. When refused to let him he told me to go shoot myself. He hung up.

This is a scam and they will do pretty much anything to scam you out of money.  I have dealt with company? in the past.  They say they are Microsoft Tech Support.  They were going to charge my credit card $300.00 to renew their tech help on my computer.  Not true.  Then they came up with this form which had no place to put a refund they said I had coming for $250.00.  He said just type in the  250 amount.  when the end of this very long form came up the amount was $25,000.00.  This did not end well and I didn't use my better judgement at all and ended up being out $24,500.00 that I will never see again.  The only thing different is this phone number is not the same.  I do not answer any more unknown phone numbers even with a message left, which is a dead give away as to what is really going on, and I do not look at any unknown or odd looking e-mails either as this was where the first messages came from.  Hope this helps some one else to not fall for these crooks and their spins on things.
