They just call me, my phone identified this number as Redwood Credit Union Fraud. So I called my branch and asked them if they called me or need anything regarding my account,  they say they never reach out. I blocked the number and moved on

This is a totally legit number from Redwood Credit Union Fraud prevention services. How someone  got my card number - who knows but cancelled card. Most likely someone using those card readers at a business, hope they choke on it.

I take that back. This is NOT RCU, it's pretty bad when the entire recorded portion sounds exactly like RCU. I don't answer since I've blocked it but they're just fishing to confirm the info they have of you. Lucky my actual RCU fraud unit caught it, to the tune of $1200, they also used an ID for PayPal but it didn't show up on PayPal. I'm really careful with my cards but it doesn't matter as long as they can still "read" your card just by being near you in a store. They also tried calling my cell phone also now blocked, how they got that number is another mystery since I rarely use it.

Total scam. Call your bank if you don't know.
