I got a call from a private number. The person left a message saying that there's a certified letter needing to be delivered and that it can be rescheduled. He left no name or who he was or the business he was calling from. He left a call back number 844 575 2423. Has anyone gotten a call like this?

Received similar voice mail about certified mail and with same phone number. Called them back said they’re western management asset group. First person to answer phone spoke in Spanish, transferred to someone who responded hey what’s up??Called back 2nd time the voice sounded like it was fake and being voiced over.

spam/fishing call - calling to report they had urgent mail for me - call the number and asked to pay a fee for delivery

Yes, this morning.   They had an old address.

Got a call from an unknown number, couldn't pick up but they left a message saying that it was urgent.  The call was for someone I knew at an old address. Not sure why they called me but sounds fishy.

Claims to be a courier service with a civil matter that I'm "named" in.  HUGE RED FLAG AND VERY DISTURBING:  They also called both of my children trying to get information about me!!  I live in a small community and I believe any process service would be performed by the county sheriff.

Similarly, a relative of mine received a call from that number citing a certified letter that needed to be delivered to me with a reference number, all of it sounding urgent.
I called 844-575-2423 and was unable to connect, it would ring and ring and then click, click & sound like the call was being connected to a different number and continued to ring ect. and I hung up at that point. that initial certified letter call came through in March...
in April I'm getting calls from a different number+19802868570   describing a process server that needs to serve me documents... I was here on days that they said they were coming by to serve these documents however no one showed up.... I returned a call to  the other 888 362 4862 phone number that I was to call  with a reference number to rectify the situation and that number also rang & rang click, click and then a voicemail similar to anybody & everyone's voicemail service answered like your mother's plain pre-recorded voicemail... but there was no information on their recorded answer ...no  message saying anything about being a process server or anything like that..I had someone investigate that 800 # and it's coming up scam also... so not only this matter concerning a certified letter calls  ... also this process server call has been coming to me multiple times .... I'm keeping track of all this and we'll keep posting these and also sending files to gov. fraud etc etc
