I also received a call from Jason Davenport and he is now calling people I don't even speak to saying I gave the number which I did not.

This "Jason Davenport" persona also  calls from a variety of numbers usually representing something called "API".  No idea what that stands for.

I also received a call at work today 3/23/17. I ask for the company name and address, which is the same as stated above. Funny thing is when I googled it 3840 East Robinson Rd suite 234 is The UPS Store.

Got several calls today from 'Josh Tanner', from API, asking again for my daughter. He called from this #, as well as 909-906-7143 & 760-904-3744. They 'spoof' the area code of whatever # they're calling. He called my 909 area code cell phone from the 909 # & my 760 area code home number from the above 760 #. He said API is a debt remediation company, so i asked him what he wanted with my daughter. He said unless i had power of attorney, he couldn't tell me. I told him if he couldn't tell me, then i suggest he take my # off his list. I hung up on him in the middle of his next sentence. he proceeded to call SEVEN more times, back-to-back, BEFORE i could block his #!  He then proceeded to call my former son-n-law FIVE times, asking for info on my daughter, then asked my S-N-L if he knew ME & said he was going to keep calling until my daughter called him back. Funny thing, she called them back 3 weeks ago, when the first call came in & they have yet to give her any paperwork on this 'debt'!  A friend who handles collections at a bank said API is a hard money collector and is trying to collect on debts that are almost at the end of the statute of limitations. He suggested taping the calls & contacting an attorney & have them go after API for harrassment.

Pamela called my daughter for me to contact her to avoid going to court. She said that her clients were painting nasty pictures of me and so her intent is to get a statement from me to avoid going to court...

Looks like the big shot Chris Dire from Clarence NY is now in hot water with the NY Attorney General and the CFPB. His company Regency One Capital LLC several other entities owned by Mr Dire and its managers have been served with a lawsuit on many counts of illegal and deceptive collection tactics as reported in the Buffalo News 9/8/ 20 . If you have been contacted by this company you may be entitled to damages and reimbursement . Contact a creditors rights attorney in your area.. Let’s hope that justice is served as innocent people fall prey to these greed driven egotistical people with big homes and fancy cars acquired by illegal and fraudulent businesses.
