Asked for bank detail claming that they are fraud department , called bank  not one of thier numbers

claims that they were the fraud department of Bank of America. They had the last four digits of my ATM card. I immediately hung up and called the Bank of America on their real number. They say they have lots of complaints about this number

Called saying that it was Bank of America Fraud Dept., calling about my business debit card (which had been stolen, and for which I had filed a fraud claim with BofA).  Caller asked for last 4 of SS#.  I hung up, called BofA on their real number, and they verified that this was NOT BofA calling, and they did NOT try to reach out to me.  Definitely scam phone call phishing for SS# to be able to gain access to online access.  SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!!

Left message that there was unusual activity on my companys bank account.  Checked with regular bank number. Nothing iw wrong

Fraud, do not answer, not a BoA

This is a very savvy phishing call. I looked up the number and that's the only way I knew it wasn't what it said it was. Do not talk with whoever answers.

First they text me about possible fraud activity in my bank account, asked me to confirm that $56 was spent by me. On text msg I should respond Yes or No. I type No. Then they left voice message. I called even I knew BofA don’t use (844) area code. The guy asked permition to access to my account and start to ask my personal info. Then he said he going to hang up and immediately Fraud specialist gonna call from different phone. 😂 Meantime I already was reading about them. Scammers 😂

This was a legitimate text with this number from Bank of America. I called their customer service department and verified it.
