Called to inform me of a payday loan that I took in 2012.  They said they were going to serve me to appear in court.

The person said I had a payday loan in 2012, which I never had for 450.00 dollars.

This is complete BS. The dude calls himself Mr. Wade sounds like a complete idiot trying to be interrogating on the message. Glad I saw the posts on here. I knew this was a pay day loan scam! When they tell you that you need to have your attorney representing you, this is a complete BS scam.

I would really like to know if this is the same people trying to contact me. They have called my family members looking for me. Never said what for and it was a complaints department. Mrs Simpson was the lady's name.

They said they have dissatisfaction with something that is going to be filed against my name and my social and that I need to reply with my statement or papers will be filed in my absence. Every time I've tried calling back I can't get ahold of anyone. They've called my family members. This is a scam right?!

My brother received a call from "Mr Wade" and forwarded the message to me.  Mr Wade stated that he needed me to call 844-585-1178 with a Statement of Defense.  That my attorney could call and that they were proceeding against me with failure to comply and that they would be calling my employer if I did not reply and that they needed the details & Dates set forth and left a case number to reply to.  I called back immediately and got VM which was total BS.  So I anxiously awaited for them to open today and got a lady this morning.  I asked her the amount (640.00) and said it was an old pay day loan.  She refused to give me the amount of the original loan and said that they had just gotten the information on Friday last week and that it was originally from 2012 but gave me 3 companies that "could have" lent me the money.  I told her that my lawyer would contact them and she hung up.  So I waited and called back and got James Stacey.  Told him that I was hung up on and he apologized.  Gave him the account number and he said that she had placed a note stating that my lawyer would call.  I verified that my attorney would be calling but needed information.  I asked him the name of his company as she just said FRD was final resolution department.  He said the same thing and I said I understood that but FRD from what company and he said Absolute LLC, he stated 640.00 total but 140.00 was their fee and that the debt was from 2011 and then said it could be 2010 or earlier and that the statute of limitations was about to run out on the collection.  I told him that I did not take out any Pay Day loans in 2010,2011 or 2012 and that I had filed Bankruptcy on all debts which did include a payday loan.  So I informed him that my bankruptcy attorney would be contacting them as it's illegal to even contact me about any debt.  He said he could hear the "honesty in my voice" and that no further contact was needed that he would put a note on the account that this debt was to be left.  I asked if that was because I could sue them for contact and he said yes and told me to have a blessed day.
