- MAMA B| 12 repliesGot a call today stating that they are a processing service and they have documents that were faxed to their office and I would be served today by a process server. once he came with 2 uniformed officers that I need to have all firearms put away and all small children must have someone there that can take them as I will be arrested. Never gave a case number, nor what the charges were for. I didn't call the number back. The name of the company was Nationwide Processing Services. Looked this name up on line and found several things on 800notes pertaining to another number 888-855-0751. These people just need to stop.
- Caller: Nationwide Processing Services
- Slim replies to MAMA BLegitimate process servers do not call to warn you, or to get money from you to stop the process. They will deliver the notification without warning.
Also, if you were threatened with an "arrest warrant" via a phone call or email, read this:
http://news.uscourts.gov/warning-arrest-warrant-scam
"The warrant is phony. A valid warrant would not be served by fax or e-mail. It would be served in person by a U.S. Marshal or other law enforcement officer."
"Anyone receiving a fake arrest warrant should contact the FBI or the district U.S. Marshals Office. If there is any question regarding the authenticity of a warrant, contact your district clerk of court." - gGot a call on home phone today from Liz Wilson from Nationwide services, concerning 2 part felony complaint that was placed with her office this morning She has been retained to file with the district attorney's office, upon filing the Sherriff will accompany me to your residence or place of employment. if you have any questions or concerns you must contact my office immediately at 844-594-0200 Upon my arrival same as above put fire arms away and make sure there is someone to care for small children. and now I have been legally notified in accordance to federal and state law.
I will not engage with these scammers. I googled the number and there are other posts with the exact same message.
No file number either. There are no forewarnings with process servers they just show up. I have had calls similar to this in the past. Its a scare tactic to get you to pay money to old debts. Just disregard eventually it stops, but it usually starts again. It sounds like a script they follow. I feel like I need a shower after these type of people call and harass you. - Scam AlertSame callers, same lies listed above. I am not even the person they were looking for. But they urinated in the wrong Cheerios. Made a police report. They are using a loophole by not stating which county they are filing charges in. They messed up when they wanted to pretend to be Feds. File a police report. The more reports the better the case. If you are like me and feel the desire to call them back and demand to be removed from their little list, RECORD THE CALL. ( There are several free apps you can download to your phone that will record the conversation and then you can send it via email to yourself or the police for evidence ) They are Ghetto and will make Threats. Be prepared. Just remain calm, silly little impersonators. The Real Feds and/or FBI will be responding with warrants for each of them with enough evidence. I had everything recorded. In fact, the police were already aware of Nationwide. I live in Austin Texas. So, like I stated.... Take a few minutes of your time and go make the report. It might save someone's life. What if a little old Granny answered their call, it could cause her to have a heart attack. They are vulgar, make threats, and have the intelligence level of a turd. I kinda feel bad for the turd I am relating this Team of morons to. MAKE A INCIDENT REPORT & A HARASSMENT REPORT if you feel harassed and they stated the same lies as reported above.
Dear Nationwide,
Didn't anyone ever tell you.... DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS
I hope you read your reviews, because the real Law Enforcement is on your trail. Maybe if you didn't leave a trail of poop you wouldn't be so easy to find. I laugh because I just advocated for everyone and I hope you have bail money and this bully job was worth it. Save enough money to cover the bail and attorney you will need for the charges that are about to slap you in the butt. Karma and justice will prevail. This is your notice. Shame on you. I'm sure your parents taught you better. Just because it's a job that pays, does not mean its legal. If you are pressured into lying and fear loosing your job, report your employer to the Workforce Commission. I'm a fair person and advocate for anyone. Even the employees of Nationwide. The truth speaks for its self.
P.S. I would inform the officers upon arrival if you have any children or firearms in your house when they arrive. Just a bit of advice.- Caller: Nationwide Services

Threatening people with criminal process for civil debts clearly violates federal rules and is an actual crime in many states.
Contact your local attorney general.
This is a total scam to scare you into paying them something. No real process server tells you in advance that they are going to serve you. - CWG40 replies to MiniTotal scam. This is a group of white collar criminals who go around trying to scare people with threats of criminal prosecution for civil debts. Basically they are trying to scare you into giving them money. Debt collectors have no powers of arrest and have absolutely no influence on public prosecutors or law enforcement. You cannot be arrested for ordinary civil debt. Warrants are only issued by judges to duly constituted law enforcement agencies on application and probable cause that the party named in the warrant has, infact committed the crime. They are only issued in the cases of a crime and are only served by law enforcement agencies. Like I say, being in debt is not a crime and you cannot be arrested for it.
They are violating federal rules and probably the laws of your state. Report them: http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection

- Elissa McAlister replies to MAMA BThis same company called my ex mother in law threatening the same stuff. I called them today and told them if they called her one more time they would get a call from my lawyer. This is an old woman that has heart problems and they had her so scared for me and my children, her grandkids, that she was crying. This company is a scam. Never in my life have I dealt with such rudeness from a supervisor telling me she would proceed with my case. I am looking for them to call again as I have this past conversation recorded and I will be taking legal action against them.
- NA replies to MAMA B| 1 replySo I just got the same call saying that I had 2 counts of fraud, bad check, hard wire etc. Closing is tomorrow and if payment is not in by that time warrant will be sent out for me to be arrested. Referred me to 5855074257.. I know I have a unpaid collection however I have never written a bounced check nor none of the above. Are these people serious? Can they really arrest you or are they just saying anything possible to get u to pay?
- CWG40 replies to NATotal scam. Read the other posts. Warrants are only issued by judges on the basis of an application by duly constituted officers of the law. They are only issued to duly constituted officers of the law and are served in hand by duly constituted officers of the law! Period. They are only issued in criminal cases. Being in debt is not a crime.
Fraud, bad check writing and so forth are criminal matters. Debt collectors have nothing to do with law enforcement and have absolutely NO INFLUENCE on public prosecutors or police. If you had written a bad check the bank would have notified you first, not some scammy or scummy debt collector. Usually the bank will reach an agreement with the patron and that's the end of it. If there is a need for prosecution, the BANK will make a complaint to police. Not some scam debt collector.
Having an unpaid civil debt is NOT a criminal offense and you cannot be arrested for it.
This is just a scam meant to frighten you into paying them something. Don't fall for it. If they have a valid debt they are supposed to send you a debt validation letter by US Mail. E-mail no good. Of course, they won't do this. No letter, no money.

If they continue to bother you, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now. - Sharpshooter replies to CWG40A process server is an "Officer of the Court" and carries credentials along that line. If they're real, the court would be interested in their conduct. If they're not, the court would have them arrested for impersonation.
- Browns Consulting replies to MAMA BThese are out and out liars and scammers...Don't be fooled
