An attempted "Power Bill" scam was made from this number today and I've contacted the police (http://www.delhipolice.nic.in/) about it.

I received a call today regarding a late local Power & Light Bill.  We don't have service in our name.  Total scammer - all the way.

Phone number is registered to "Bernard Parker"

We also got the same phone call, September 30th, saying that they were going to turn our power off and that they were with Duke Energy, this needs to be checked out asap

I think I managed to find the actual phone number that the toll free 844 RCF is setup to go to; it's 972-676-9503, which appears to be a number in Texas.

FRAUD!!
Called claiming to be from Edison, saying that technicians were on the way to interrupt service.
Caller ID showed Bernard Parker.

Called business on a Saturday and said SMUD and was going to disconnect power in 28 minutes and would need to pay a deposit of $398.68 to  reinstate. This was for substandard box and painting box which is absurd. I asked for his name and contact info, Kevin Garcia and phone was 844-653-2035 put me on hold for 18 min. I hung up and called back and asked for Kevin Garcia and was told they were having high calling and would have to call back in ten minutes- never called so I looked here. He was rather rude for a customer service person!

i got a call yesterday saying they would turn my power off and i needed to give them money via green dot.  had their stuff together and sounded very legit.  total scam but made me panic nontheless.

I got a call today from a Kevin Garcia asking me to go to a pay center and purchase a green dot card to pay my DWP bill what a scam. I called them back asking for Kevin and some dude got really upset when I told him he was a scammer and gave him some choice words for his Thanksgiving. Beware People.

They called me on December 12, 2014 regarding my San Francisco location, that I was late on my utility bill and would shut off service in 45 minutes (they couldn't fax a bill but my account was red flagged and service would be turned off in 45 minutes). They wanted me to go to a local "pay center" and pay $500 cash (using green dot card). Panicked, I drove to a pay center. At a red light, I googled (844) 653-2035 and realized it was a scam. I didn't want my service turned off and almost fell for it. Thank goodness for this and other sites. The phone number called me back an hour later and said how things were going, I said I called PG & E, they said my account was fine and you were trying to defraud me, they hung up.

Can you please give the reference ID of the police complaint? I know one of the persons involved
