I recieved two text messages from this number claiming they have not heard from me in a long while and wanted to know if i was still interested in a job

Me too.  Looks like a scam

They texted about jobs in the area

The same number asked me if I would like to know about the nearby job.

I got the same message

Do not reply ANYTHING to this number. Even the word "stop". You will receive start receiving multiple spam/scam texts from Google voice number afterwards...

Same here than when it needs specific integers , figured AI. Nope not for me.

Thanked me for applying (?), and asked if I would be interested in other job opportunities nearby.  Received 5/8/24.  Blocked.

I got the "Hi, Greg. Thanks for applying, etc." message. Looks like it's time to block a number.
