I had a similar experience. Number was blocked and caller left no name or company name. Just said a complaint was forwarded to them and possible legal action would be filed. I tried the number and it said BENNETT and Assoc but man was very rude on the phone and said he would try and locate my file but if I couldn’t wait then he was just going to end the call - and he did which is why I’m reporting this number ! Clearly is a scam!

Left a voicemail from an Unknown number on my and my extended family's phones, about calling regarding a legal matter against me.  I called the number they gave, 844-664-2318 and spoke with a Claudia from the Litigation Department of Bennett and Associates.  She refused to give me their address without me first giving a file number.  I refused and asked again for the business address.  She asked if I would give out my address if she had just called me.  I told her no, but I am not a business and asked for her business address again.  She hung up on me.

Same thing here, The entity is D&E Law Group and they told me that I have a judgment against me and I asked what case number and where it was filed. They said it was not filed yet. Well, I had major problems in 2009 and defaulted on most of my debts. The statute of limitations in AZ is 6 years and a day. This has passed about three years ago and I told them that the debt is null and void and they hung up on me and said: "I was being rude". Them not giving the case number or understanding the statute of limitations makes me wonder if they are legitimate. Most probably someone in Buffalo (capital of collections) trying to collect on a bum debt! BEWARE ALL!
