They wanted $12,000.00 to run a line for Spectrum to get us cable tv

Did you get your tv though for what they said you would or did spectrum want 12 grand I got a call same thing they want 4 grand

They want $1,300 for me to get Spectrum to my new home.

$12,000 to run a line 1,000ish feet.

Lady from Spectrum said there was a contribution of $2,000 to to run 800 feet of new cable to my house. I laughed and hung up. I think they hacked into their system.

Spectrum will pay for the first $1500 of cost to run the cable to your house, you pay for the rest.  We had around 700 feet of cable needed run and was told that cost around $800 so we did not have to pay for that.
