Received a voicemail threatening legal action if I did not call back, and stated they were from social security.  I called the number and got a recording asking me to wait for the next available operator, but the recording didn't state "you have reached the social security administration."  Then the call went to music.  Since I have heard that social security mails stuff and doesn't call, plus the lack of identifier in the recorded greeting, I wa suspicious.  Anyway, it hung up on me while I was waiting for an available operator twice.  On the third try someone with a heavy accent answered and the background noise was so loud that we could barely converse.  He explained that they suspected that my social. Security number was being uses fraudulently in Texas.
