800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Charities, along with some Survey's and Political calls, are exempt from the DNC, however, they can still get into trouble for not placing you on a internal DNC when asked, you can also check your states laws in regards. Some states do not allow them to call on their state DNC laws which can differ from the federal.

Caller ID SSI left no message

Got 2 calls today from SSI, whatever that is, not social security? Some bull. Both different phone numbers, so pretty slick as far as blocking. The 2nd one at 8:55 at night, don't need that, have family members I am waiting to hear impt info from and it's disturbing that these morons invade your space.

SSI is a legit business out of Fairfield, CT. Used to be a vendor providing sample lists (phone numbers, etc.) it was a "poll" for the GOP. Don't know if it's the same company because I don't think they did their own surveys, and it's an Illinois number.

8472644918 called Sunday evening, I answered with "Hello?" Received a beep then silence and hang up. Thanks for interrupting.

Called my DNC landline, did not answer, added to address book as no ring. Came up on ID without 847. Thanks to members for contributing.

Called for "Michael or Michelle".  When asked for a last name he said I don't have that. I told him I need a last name because I have over 3000 employees here.  He just hung up then.

Hello members, thanks for your  inputs. They called my landline 5 times in past 2 days. I never answer and have now added to blocked call register.

SSI = Survey Sampling International. They have call centers in several states and foreign countries. They only conduct market research surveys and opinion polls for a variety of customers that do not lead to a sales attempt and as such are exempt from screening numbers against the Federal DNC list before calling. The only way to opt-out of future calls is to do so via the instructions on their website here:
