Called cell phone - tons of static! Recorded message for carpet cleaning - even tho I'm on the DO NOT CALL list

got a call on my cell phone, on a do not call, re carpet cleaning...I am really angry.  Tried to call back, sounded like a fax beep.  Can we report this company

I got the same call just now.  Answered, only because I thought it might be my doctor's office.  It was a recording for carpert cleaning.  However, when you call back it is a loud beep. Vary annoying.  I find with the cell phone I am on this web site more and more.  I fear that someone sold our numbers....

Got the same call a few minutes ago.  Left a voicemail only 2 seconds long with no information.

I got a call from this number that was an automated voice message trying to sell me carpet cleaning.  This was a call on my cell phone and I am on the do not call list.  Where do we report this?

Got the call... annoyed since they are using up my minutes.  This is ridiculous.  I feel violated!!

prerecorded message offering to "clean entire house for $79."  I am on the National Do Not Call list.  I will file a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission (http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm).  I suggest you do the same if you are also on the Do Not Call list.

i got this same number and a loud beep from landline when you call it back

Just got this call on my cell phone. I happened to answer it and an instant recording came across for a carpet cleaning. I also called back the number and got a beep. This is so frustrating. I am also on the do not call list and have numerous numbers blocked with my provider.  Before I was getting 866 numbers now this. Argghghggh.

They called me about an hour ago. After reading some of these complaints, I went onto the do not call website (my number is registered) and filed a complaint with them.

Just got a call. But I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. If you have verizon you can go onto verizonwireless.com, plug in the number and it will be blocked for 6 months. That's what I always do.

This is a new scam. This "carpet cleaner" is phishing for cell phone numbers. I got the same call earlier, but it was a number in Boston. Now it's in Chicago. It's all fake.

The scam is, you call back, they have captured your cell phone number, which they sell. Just ignore them. It's a scam. And it's legal, because they aren't selling anything.
