FRAUD ALERT!!  Text saying my bank card was locked.

Sent a text saying my card was locked and to call this number

I very recently made an online credit card payment to Globe Insurance, which I do annually this time of the year, and which I wonder if it has anything to do with it.  I, as well as the preceding respondents above, received a cell phone message today saying my credit card was temporarily locked. So glad I sensed a Red Flag and googled the number the cell phone message told me to call, which is what you see above, and that it led me to to 800notes.com, which is still the Very Best site for looking up dubious numbers ever—even though it is supposedly no longer in operation(??).  Anyway, thanks 800notes.com and all who logged in to report this scam number.  Now I know to just ignore it!

Where you made a credit card payment to has nothing to do with this scam call since countless people are getting similar calls and they don't all have that insurance.
Anytime you get a message like that di not give the caller any information. Simply hang up & call the number on the back of your card.

And why did you think 800notes was "supposedly no longer in operation"?
