I got the text message saying to call this number.  It said they are Compass Bank.
I do not have an account at Compass Bank.

If you call the number an automated system will ask for to dail in your social security number and your ATM/Debit card number.  DO NOT give them your information.  This is a phishing scam to steal your identity and money from your bank account.
I have filed a complaint with the FCC about this scam.

It's now being said it's Compass Bank -- got a text saying my immediate action is required, and I don't bank with them. Yep, it's a scam.

I got the text claiming to be from Compass Bank.

I called the number I entered my social don't know why and da automated voice mail asked me 2 press 1 if it was correct and I just hung up I didn't verify if it was correct or not I just hung up should I still be worried

Total phony fake.  No account with compass bank.  

Mine was from Compass Bank and like you above I don't have any account there.  Glad I looked it up before even considering calling back.  GEEEEZZZ

This is definately a scam. They called my work phone which is a federal government phone and the call will be traced.

Received a text telling me that my immediate attention is required and I need to contact Citibank. Apparently my account was at risk. Thing is - I don't bank with Citibank. Obviously a scam. The caller id was: 347-5851

Contact compass bank now your account at risk. I'm in spring, tx don't use that bank. it was a text from this #.

This is what I got to my text! I replied like "F your M". I wish the sender revived the text.

I got the same text but it said I had an account at HSBC and it was at risk.  I don't bank at HSBC so this was clearly a SCAM!!

Just received a text from 917 364 6245:

917364 (Please Contact HSBC Bank @ 850 688 1022) Your immediate attention is requested. Account At Risk. Act Now.

From same phone number but named " HSBC Bank " where I really have one checking account. If it was Compass bank I would ignore it but since they used real bank name that I have account with them...it's scared.

From same phone number (850-688-1022) [From 917-363-55;, but named " HSBC Bank ", I don't bank there, and if the issue was real would expect a REAL person to contact me.

Just got the same text. HSBC. I don't have an account with them either. Besides that, your bank would call you directly if there was a problem. They wouldn't send a text for you to call them.

Message I rec'd told me to contact HS BC Bank (note the space between the S and the B) and that "account was at risk", "act now"

Mine in New York was "from" HSBC Bank @ 850 688 1022.
