Asked for a name of someone who does not live here. When I said that, abruptly hung up.

This number called me stating that the are EZ car loan company, asking me all of my personal information.  Just trying to find out if there is such a company with this number

I was awakened this morning by someone asking for a person who used to live in a rental house we own.  He left without paying the rent and left garbage and junk all over.  Now some place called EZ  Auto loan (Unknown Name on Caller ID) is trying to reach him.  They said they would not remove me from their list unless I gave them my name, which of course I did not.  This sounded like the same person/outfit that made many calls to our number, asking for Alan, but I didn't connect it with our former tenant until today, when he asked using the surname.

Send a registered/with return letter to them. Tell them you aren't who they're looking for & if they call anymore they can talk to the lawyer.

Received the following voicemail:

"Hello this is Jessica Bell with Easy Auto Financing. You've been accepted for a new used car loan of up to $40 ,000. Call now for your new car our loan specialist is waiting for your call. Thank you"

Also received the same message, verbatim, twice a day for two days before blocking the origin number 386-693-1530.

Calling NONSTOP - it is beyond harrassment. If it's a debt collector they are in serious violation of the FDCPA. I called and pressed "2" to remove my number (it says they are an auto finance company - but I think they're playing games). Let's see what happens.

They call me repeatedly leaving me voicemails and when I called back to get their personal informaton, they laughed, spoke rudely to me, and hung up in my face multiple times. Clearly not a realy company, but how can I make sure they don't call me anymore?
