Received calls stating they want to verify employment.  I haven't applied for anything.

When I answer it goes straight to a recorded message saying they need to talk to me about a "business" matter. Somehow they know my name,  I believe they somehow retrieved info from me applying for jobs through indeed where there seems to be scammers posting as employers.

Debt collector out of New York so they certainly did not get your name from a job application.

Keeps calling saying they need to verify employment which is BS because I've had the same job for years! Tried calling the number back to let them have it because I'm tired of the calls, but only got a busy signal

I think you’re right! Because I applied for jobs on Indeed, and now I’m getting calls from these people. I don’t owe anyone so I’m not sure why they are calling me.

Called me left a voice mail about a file and something about manager position or something idk.

They said they wanted to confirm info and my location. They didn’t leave no name of who was calling neither!!! Be careful it’s a SCAM!!!

They call from numbers from all over the US. Scammers
