    Internet browser locks up. Says you need to call to speak to a Microsoft-certified technician. Typical scam guy picks up and wants to take control of your computer then take your money. Don't fall for it.

    Solution:
    Press [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[ESC] to bring up the Task Manager. Find your browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox) and click End Task.

    Got a beep and a blue screen with message to not shut down or it may lead to data loss or failure of operating system and complete data loss. I checked this # in reverse directory.  Scam!!! I started task manager and deleted it. Now I'm running my security programs.
