Threats to take me to court over wachovia overdraft, claiming i owe $4000 on account i havent used in 6 years

I received a call from this number as well about an account that was with Wachovia and it has not been used in almost 7 years and I do not have a account with Wells Fargo. I was told the account was sold to a company called RJM.

Yes I have been receiving their phone call for like 2 weeks now. They said that your account was told to 5 different collection companies. saying i owe wachovia $5000.00. i dont understand what this is and how they are getting our information.

I didn't get a letter, but they claimed they sent one out 45 days ago for a settlement. They contacted me on my brother's brand new phone number and I've had the same number for years. The bank does not have anything to do with that company and I cannot find it online.

they called my wife and said we own them 4,000. so i called the PD and they said not to pay them and it was a bull [***]. do no fall for it. the other number they call for too is (909)-303-7005 his name is Phil Rayes.

this is a total scam! i have reported to upland pd and the say not to pay. also the adress at Mountain ave is a ups store. the domain regentassociates.info was recently activated. i have reported it to godaddy as well. They are now harassing 3 of my family members. how do we make this stop? i asked Gregory from Regent to provide me with the federal business # for their company as well as the attorney they work for BAR information. i was suppose to get an email over the weekend but havent recieved anything except what looks like a fake letter that they want a copy of my id and credit card on. <-- thats not gonna happen in a million years. BEWARE people its a scam!

They called me today asking for money, they said they are suing me for check fraud.
Its an account that I haven't used since 2010. I called my bank but they can say much. They got my work phone but they couldn't get my recent address? Im not sure of what to do here.  

we received a call from regent and assoc. saying they were suing me for check fraud on an account that hasnt been used since 2010 at whacovia everything i can find says is a scam but i wanted to know what yall have done so far they said i could pay 6 payments of 314 for a total of 1884 first payment to be made immediately or it would go to court tomorrow if someone could let me know what you have done about this i had my cousin call them they wouldn't answer him when he asked where they was there address or there federal business number instead they changed subject and put him on hold please let me know what i should do thank you

I got the same call. He said i did back fraud from 2009 for wells fargo. I told him how is it fraud if u use ur real info? he told me he was going to put me in jail if i didnt pay and i could sit there till someone felt bad for me and payed it. "WTF" then started saying people like me dont pay and other BS. He also called me landlord an mother in law.. He told me to pay 1200 i told him like hell i dont have that kind of money then he said 500 an he will write the rest off.. I called different credit help and lawyers who told me that its a scam do not pay it and there isnt much you can do but block the number. They said if u try to sue theyll just up and move so they dont even try. the number is 1-800-668-3247.. Call them tell them who the caller is an number and they will tell you..

he told me i committed check fraud because i left an account with a zero balance and unattended for to long even though i was switching banks at that time i let it sit for about a year then closed it he said i showed malicious intent to defraud the bank of money that wasnt mine what money i was taking idk i called from a different number today and asked them there address so i could send my payment he wouldnt give there address til i gave him my case number and my social i told him i knew it was a scam he said im sorry say that again i repeated myself then he hung up on me

they just got me because don't research before they take money out my account so I tink its too late but I cancel my bank card

Ya. The lawyers i called the other day told me that if he was a legit collections that he would have my address and phone number. He told me they didnt have my address.? how are u going to no my number and ss# but not my address? I told the lawyer that he called again an told me that they got permission to go ahead with the legal proceeding an for me to call to get the new details an how to get my paper.. Lawyer told me thats not true if there going to sue me someone has to serve me the papers in person. Cant be mailed or over the phone or email. How often does he call you? He called back in Oct i told him im pregnant an cant pay he started flippen out on me i told him ill see what i could do an after that he did call till dec 2. So as far as im concerned he can kiss my [***] cause he hasnt sent me validation of the debt and after the contact you they have 5 days to send you paper work.. An even if he was REAL Debt collector what can he do my account was in 2009 an i cali the SOL is 4 years..

Did u ask for or get debt verification before?

Same deal said he would work a deal with me at $1200. Another call 4 weeks latet from a document pricessing company..? Checked with wells fargo and they knee nothing of this and its not on my credit report..the fact that theyre on this site makes me think a little more that its a scam
