Payday Loan/ Bad check SCAM robocall. Implies they are a legal firm, reveals in the recording it's about a bad check (illegal!), leaves callback number 877-829-5564, and a verrrrrry long reference number. Beware.

They threaten to have people arrested or served with papers, stuff repossessed, etc. Tell them you'll talk when you see some official paperwork.

Received call on my daughters phone askn for me. I answered and the man claim to be from my counts courthouse stating that I was going to be served with papers at my home the next day and i could call the above number to find out details. I called the number spome with a person name Jack who found someone in the lehal department who informed me that I was going to have a court date because of c
rom bank charges and he may could get those dropprd but i would need to put a debit card on file if not i would need to explain to the judge and pau $735 dollars plus a retainer ferr of $1500 dollars. When i requested paperwork he rudely hung up....... had no idea what WA going on.

They called my father cellphone and ask for me and said that i missed a court date and going  to take my driver license and take me jail if i dont pay this bill in full today.They talk to you rude and nasty.this is a scam

I rec'd this call today adn apparently for soem time now from different people. They leave threatening messges etc.
Some of the messages are not easy to understand. Said thename of hte company very quickly and I could not verify it at all.

I was called on my cell and asked would I be available at a specific time on tomorrow, (Thurs) to be served.  I asked what was it about?  The caller explained that it was certainly not his responsibility to know  anything about this but would give me a number to call and get more information.  The number given was
855-215-4132.  I followed through and my called was answered by a recording which stated in a female sounding voice that Anna Smith or Smidth was unavailable.
I was at work very busy when this happened and I do not appreciate this foolishness.

My 92 year grandma got a call from 855-215-4132 asking for me.  They said I gave her number as my contact number.  FALSE!  I called it back and was told it was the law firm of Nichols and Grant and they had filed legal papers in Johnson County.  I don't live there and he refused to provided me with any paperwork and demanded I pay $735 on the spot or they would put put a felony warrant on me.  I refused to pay and tried to get more info on his law office and he refused to give me any info and just kept threatening me with a warrant.  He hung up on my 3x cause I kept calling back demanding info on them.  The last time he said if I called back again he would file harassment charges on me.  This is such a scam.  Don't fall for it.  I'm filing a complaint on them with the attorney general!!

Don't answer the calls.  They call from a different number to try and get you to answer.  Once you answer they know it is a good number and they will continue to call and harass you.  File a formal complaint with your attorney general.

received two calls from a Vince Gilmore stated I needed to call 855 215 4132 immediately and he was calling as a courtsey call.  If I didn't call back then I would be served at my home or business.

Trying to see if this is a scam or not.

I got s message stating I needd to call that number ASAP, if not papers would be served at my house and if I wasn't there that they would come to my job, and the man that called was mike. So I called the number like 5 times and left 2 messages, and I had my local police department call, all we got was a answerin machine, and the name was Anna smith

They call my land line phone with the same thing about serving paperThis is every day.

Someone from phone number 855-215-4132 calls me 5-6 times a day asking for Thelma Williams.  I don't know anyone by that name and have told them that many many times.  This has been going on for two years!  They call me 4-5 times a day while I am working, and again in the evening.  They are very rude, but when I get rude back, they hang up on me.  The last time they called me today, I told them if they called me again, I was going to sue them for harrassment.  Since I don't know who they are, however, I am going to report this to the Attorney General.

I received a call from 855-215-4132.  A James Grant from Nichols & Grant said that they had received a package filed in their office last week with my name and social security number - although they never addressed what the name and number specifically were.  He also said that I should have received a package at my home or work and that I would have had to sign for it.  He needed me to call so he could go over his client's statement, and information that was on page 15 of the packet.  He also wanted to go over hearing dates and times.  I have not received this packet and don't even really know who James is looking for.  Needless to say, I won't be returning that call.  Just wanted to add my experience with the group.

POCO - just had the EXACT SAME MESSAGE left for me - reading by all the other comments above, this is nothing but a joke/scam.....

I just got the EXACT same message, too.  No details, never gave name they were looking for.  I'm ignoring these scamsters.  There definitely has been no signed-for package.  They are just trying to intimidate.
